The A.A. Grapevine is the Fellowship’s principal magazine, with a circulation of about 120,000 around the world. The Area 55 Grapevine Committee attend many meetings and events of various kinds: Intergroup meetings, General Service Assembly, area functions, and any A.A. group event we are asked to attend. Members of the committee attend these events to be available for members who are interested in purchasing or subscribing to the Grapevine International Journal of Alcoholics Anonymous. In addition to the magazine itself, we offer additional A.A. audiotapes and literature.

The AA Grapevine Mission Statement

The AA Grapevine, Inc. is publisher of the International Journal of Alcoholics Anonymous. Its primary purpose is to carry the AA message to everyone interested in alcoholism through its magazines, websites, and related items, which reflect the experience, strength, and hope of its members and friends on topics related to recovery, unity and service. It strives in all its activities to operate in accordance with the Twelve Steps, the Twelve Traditions, and the Twelve Concepts of AA, without soliciting monetary contributions from AA members or groups to fund operating expenses.
